$627 million Mega Millions Jackpot This Evening

Tonight’s Mega Millions draw has a top prize of $627 million. Will a ticket bought from Lottery24 scoop this fantastic jackpot?

This is the final Mega Millions draw in August and the jackpot has been steadily climbing over the past few weeks.

March saw a ticket that was purchased in New Jersey win a fantastic $1.128 billion jackpot. The last time the top prize was won was in the June 4 draw. That’s when  a ticket sold in Illinois won the $552 million Mega Millions jackpot.

Two wins in 2024

That’s just two jackpot wins this year which is way down on last year. By this time in 2023, the Mega Millions draw had seen its top prize won eight times. Four of those wins came in January.

The latest Mega Millions draw was held on Tuesday but again ended in a rollover. There were two near misses with both tickets winning their owner(s) $1 million.

Lucky numbers?

Which numbers might win you the jackpot tonight? Low numbers haven’t been coming out a great deal in recent draws. There have been no single-digit balls seen in the last two draws and just one of the last seven.

It was the morning after the draw that he decided to see if his ticket had won anything.  He was so shocked when discovering his win he had to scan his ticket three times “just to make sure.”
