$560 million Mega Jackpot Won Ahead of Friday’s EuroMillions Superdraw

It’s already been a massive week in the world of lotteries. Tuesday saw a ticket sold in Illinois, USA, win a $560 million Mega Millions jackpot  Now we’re just 24 hours away from the €130 million (£110 million) EuroMillions Superdraw.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot win was only the second time the top prize had been won this year. The other was on March 26 when  a Mega Million ticket purchased in New Jersey won a $1.13 billion jackpot.

Second win of the year

Then two days ago, we had the second Mega Millions jackpot win of the year. One ticket was able to successfully match 19-37-40-63-69 and the Mega Ball 17. It’s the ninth-largest win in the history of the Mega Millions lottery. The cash option for this jackpot is $264 million.

This is the first time a ticket sold in Illinois has won the Mega Millions jackpot since  June 2015. On that occasion it was John Williams and Neal Logue from Blue Island who won $262 million.  That win came just five months after Jesus Davila Jr won $215 million. The winner of this jackpot is yet to come forward to claim their prize.

Third EuroMillions Superdraw of 2024

Now we’re all waiting for the third EuroMillions Superdraw of the year. The top prize will be enhanced to €130 million (£110 million). That’s a big jump from the latest draw that was held on Tuesday. That saw players unable to win the €70.2 million (£59.8 million) top prize.

There have already been two EuroMillions Superdraws in 2024. January’s Superdraw produced a rollover but in March it was a ticket bought in Barcelona that won the €130 million jackpot.

What numbers could win you the EuroMillions Superdraw jackpot?  There have been five single-digit numbers appear in the last two draws with three coming out on Tuesday. Only one number in the 20s has appeared in the last six draws.

As for Lucky Stars, 07 has come up in three of the last five draws but 02 and 05 haven’t appeared since April.
