A family in Western Australia used to working long hours all week for the past ten years have won a $40m jackpot in Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw.The South West family have decided to remain anonymous, but the father of the family said: “We’ve been working seven days a week, 15 hours a day for the last 10 years. We haven’t been able to afford a house or a car and every time we have gone to the bank for a loan, it’s been declined.”After discovering their OZ Lotto win, the father said he was “crying, shaking and bawling my eyes out all the way home.” Another family in the State won a $1m Australian Lotto prize and said it’d take them off ‘struggle street.’He added that the win “certainly won’t change us.” That’s what another family from the state said after their $50m Australian Powerball win.The parents intend to carry on working and live a normal life, but with some added luxuries.
