£25,000 People's Postcode Lottery Winners off to Paris

Three residents of Sevenoaks Road in Eastbourne in East Sussex, England are celebrating after each winning £25,000 in the People’s Postcode Lottery. One is celebrating with even more vigour as she also won a car. Their winning postcode is BN23 7LQ and one of the People’s Postcode Lottery winners is Annabelle Fontaine. She and her partner, Alan, are delighted with their win and can now finally take their six children to Disneyland, Paris. 

Canadians Gina-Lita Therrien and Yvon Turgeon couldn’t wait to go on holiday after their $6.4m Lotto 6/49 win. Peter and Diane Clegg from Barnsley, England, won £450,000 playing the People’s Postcode Lottery and took their children on holiday to Florida, USA. It’s been an important month for Annabelle who said “I feel my luck is changing now that I’ve turned 40. I set up my own beauty salon a month ago, which is something I’ve always wanted to do, and now I’ve won the lottery.” This is the latest big win after four households in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, England, each won £30,000 in the People’s Postcode Lottery. It’s another south coast win too after residents in Brighton and Hove shared a £3m People’s Postcode lottery win.

Also winning was one of her neighbours, Alison who won £25,000 and a brand-new BMW. She was speechless when People’s Postcode Lottery Presenter Jeff Brazier knocked on her door to tell her the good news. “I didn’t know what to say to Jeff when he told me. Winning this kind of money has never happened to me before.” The win has come at a good time for her as she’s in the process of buying a house with some land. “I’m in the process of buying a house with some land which has plenty of room for all my animals. I’ve got two horses, a dog and a cat", she says. Her new house needs some renovation work carried out on it, so this will help her cover those costs. 

A lottery player from Maryland, USA, was able to get a dream kitchen after winning $50,000 on a Power 5’s scratch card. The lucky winner says she’ll continue to play the People’s Postcode Lottery, hoping her brand new post code will bring her as much luck as her old one. The third People’s Postcode Lottery winner has asked to remain anonymous.
