If that wasn’t exciting enough for him, just a few days before, on the drawing the previous Monday, the Sydney man also won a share of the first division prize on the Monday Lotto, this time worth $1,020,487.The Lotto winner’s total prize money comes to over $2.4 million, and he is reported to have told New South Wales Lottery officials when they called to tell him the good news that it was “absolutely terrific.” You might think it’s too good to be true, but people do win the lottery multiple times, just like a man from across the ocean in New Zealand, who won the top NZ Lotto prize twice in the same week, and a couple from Colorado in the USA who won a top Cash 5 Lottery prize twice in the space of six months.The Sydney Lotto winner himself even thought it was too good to be true, as he told NSW Lottery officials “I’m quite stoked. Twice in a week. I just thought, this is too good to be true. Twice in a few days. The chances of winning twice in such a short period of time must be non-existent.” A Liverpool man from England also said he believed his prize to be too good to be true after winning £300,000 on the National Lottery.The Australian Lotto winner, who purchased both of his tickets from a lottery retailer in the beachside suburb of Bondi, said that he had no advice for others as to how to win the lottery, he just believed himself to be lucky. Now he is planning on how to spend his winnings and hopes to make some real estate investments.
