$200,000 Lucky Lotteries Win Comes at a “Perfect Time”

A man from Moss Vale in New South Wales in Australia is celebrating a $200,000 Lucky Lotteries jackpot win.

When his wife told him that a ticket sold locally had won the prize in the May 24 draw, he immediately suspected he might be the winner.

Often it’s a case in Australia that the lottery company knows exactly who the winners are. However, this player hadn’t registered his Lucky Lotteries jackpot winning  ticket so that couldn’t happen.

That left them in the situation where they had to wait for the winner to come forward and claim their prize. There wasn’t a long wait as the Moss Vale winner didn’t take long to confirm his suspicion that he was the jackpot winner.

“Oh, it’s so great,” joked the winner when claiming his Lucky Lotteries jackpot win. His usual routine is to check his tickets on a Monday. That wasn’t possible but he then scanned his ticket and discovered his great slice of luck.

His luck really was in that week. Not only did he win the $200,000 jackpot but also a free ticket for the next Lucky Lotteries draw. Maybe that will bring him another win.

The win has arrived at just the “perfect time for the New South Wales resident. He's recently bought some properties and this windfall will help pay them off. He says that the Lucky Lotteries draw is his “favourite game.” No doubt he loves it even more after landing the top prize.

His winning ticket was purchased from the Moss Vale Newsagency. That’s managed by Donna Moran who says the store is delighted at news of this big Lucky Lotteries jackpot win.

Buzzing

“It’s been a while since our last major winner,” said the manager. Their last major success was in 2020 but this win has left their customers buzzing. It’s the 24th major lottery winning ticket sold by the Newsagency since they opened 44 years ago. The manager hopes that the jackpot win will allow “some of their dreams to come true.”
