$1.43 million Lottario Winner Had Only Been Playing for Three Months

Just three months after he began playing lottery games, 19-year-old Canadian Matin Kelidisian from Aurora has won the $1,430,311 Lottario jackpot in the December 21,2024 draw.

The teenager tries his luck on several games including Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max. Never did he imagine that he’d become a lottery millionaire so soon after beginning to play.

Pure joy

He recalled the moment when  discovering his Lottario win at a local store. “When I saw the prize amount, I immediately started running around the store,” he said. The discovery was “pure joy” and it wasn’t long before he was screaming that he had won.

“The other customers in the store were looking at me like I was crazy, but I didn’t care,” said the Lottario winner. It was the same for the  Lucky Lotteries player who found out about her $110,000 win  while at work.

Electrifying

The shocked winner added: “It was the happiest moment ever,”  His face went red and he said it was “electrifying — like a thousand shocks coursing through my body.” The store clerk gave him some water and suggested he sit down while catching his breath. Canadian $20 million winner Anna Pelka was also given water  by a store clerk when finding out she’d won.

He called his parents and asked them to come to the store. Within ten minutes they arrived and his  proud mother told the other customers that he deserved his success. Her son said that “was such a beautiful thing to hear.”

Until he received his Lottario cheque, Maten only told his parents, sister and girlfriend his news.. With the cheque safely in his bank account he can’t wait to see how his friends react when they are finally told his news.

He plans to help his parents with their bills and mortgage. His sister’s student loan will be paid off. As for himself, he plans on having some fun including his first trips outside of Canada with the Dominican Republic top of his  list. He also wants to make some investments.
