$1 million Lotto Max Winner Shakes and Then Freezes

There are many ways in which you might react if discovering a $1 million Lotto Max win. For Janet Nett from Grande Prairie in Canada, she “started shaking” and then “just froze” when finding out about her win.

A $15 million Oz Lotto winner said they nearly had a heart attack   when discovering their win.

Having not found out the Lotto Max results, she had no idea of her fantastic win. Then after a day at work, she went to a Lotto Spot retailer to get her tickets checked. It was a massive shock for her when it came up on the screen that she’d won $1 million.

Ditch

That’s when the shaking began to start but then she just froze. Soon after Janet phoned her husband with the news.

To confirm what had happened, she decided to send him a picture. “I think he just about hit the ditch when I told him on the phone,” the Lotto Max winner recalled.  A Weekday Windfall winner had to stop their car  when being told they’d won $1 million.

Her husband wasn’t quite sure exactly how much his wife had won. At first he thought she’d only won $100,000. Quickly, she told him: “I’m telling you I won $1 million.”

Blabbermouth

There was little chance of her being able to keep the Lotto Max win secret thanks to her mother who was next to be informed.  “She was a blabbermouth and told everyone there,” Janet joked.

The win means so much to the couple. They will be able to head into their retirement “with zero debt,” have their mortgage paid and two cars that are “reliable.”

Her Lotto Max win has come at what she calls “the perfect time.”  Her job is a physically demanding one so she wants to go back to school and learn some new skills so she can find a less arduous job.

Other plans for the win include going travelling. That will see a family holiday to Hawaii and also a trip to Singapore.
